Here's the BHC round-up, you have search back a page for it (they've overloaded the page with their preview of the teams) and I think they delayed a bit in posting it. Didn't see any of the KTN's online and the Sportsgeek page hasn't been updated since basketball season....

WYTHEVILLE, Va. "? Matt Muncy scored two touchdowns and Tazewell opened the season with a wild 21-19 non-district victory over George Wythe on Friday night at Pendleton Field.
Muncy scored on a 2-yard run and also returned a punt 96 yards for a score in the first half. In fact, the Bulldogs (1-0) scored all 21 of their points in the first half and then withstood a furious George Wythe rally.
GW (0-1) had a chance to win, but a 51-yard field goal attempt fell short at the final buzzer.
Cody Lockhart added a touchdown pass to Brandon Pauley as Tazewell equaled last season's win total and also avenged a lopsided loss to the Maroons last season.
Jonathan Turpin led George Wythe with 75 yards on seven carries. Jacob Sharitz, Drew Lester and Aaron Wheeler accounted for George Wythe's touchdown. Lester, a 6-foot-3, 270-pound defensive lineman, returned a fumble 51 yards for a score.
Gate City 27, Richlands 14
Gate City jumped out to a 24-0 halftime lead en route to a victory over Richlands in a non-district battle between traditional Southwest Virginia powers.
Tihlee Anderson rushed and threw for a score, Joseph Vaughn scored a touchdown from 5 yards out and Ked Byrd booted a 21-yard field goal as Gate City (1-0) gained the momentum in the first 24 minutes.
Richlands, which was hurt by three interceptions, received a touchdown pass and a TD run from Joel Elswick. However, it wasn't enough as the stingy GC defense held the Blues to 156 yards of total offense.
Patrick Henry 25, Pound 8
Ronnie Groves returned to Southwest Virginia in style.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound senior rushed for 102 yards and scored three touchdowns as Patrick Henry gave first-year head coach Mike Compton a victory in his debut as the Rebels' boss.
Groves played last season at North Shore High School in Houston, Texas, before transferring back to PH, where he had starred as a freshman and sophomore.
Groves also had 50 passing yards. Patrick Henry finished with 342 yards of total offense.
Pound (1-0) actually took an 8-7 lead in the third quarter as Justin Mullins hooked up with Aaron Balthis on a touchdown pass and the ensuing 2-point conversion.
However, Groves reeled off three straight TD runs to clinch the win. Robert Gonzalez added 85 rushing yards and a score for the Rebels, while Jonathan Whitesides split time at QB with Groves and amassed 63 yards through the air.
Compton served the previous two seasons as an assistant at Tazewell. Before that, he played in the NFL for the Detroit Lions, New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Holston 42, St. Paul 7
The Cavaliers ran all over the Deacons, led by 137 rushing yards and two touchdowns from Jeffrey Bramlett. Eric Mefford added 96 yards on 10 rushes for Holston (1-0).
The Cavaliers scored 28 unanswered points before St. Paul (1-0) ever got on the board, and Holston outrushed the Deacons 239-79.
Clintwood 48, Coeburn 8
Seven different Clintwood players scored touchdowns as the Greenwave opened the season by blasting non-district rival Coeburn at Carl McConnell Stadium.
Heath Counts threw for a score and rushed for a score for Clintwood, the defending Region D, Division 1 champions. The team finished with 377 yards of total offense in the victory.
J.I. Burton 43, Rye Cove 6
Martinez Miles scored three touchdowns and J.I. Burton's offense racked up 304 rushing yards in an easy non-district win over Rye Cove.
Miles scored on runs of 16, 2 and 3 yards and finished with 52 yards on five carries. Russell Rice (3 carries, 79 yards, one touchdown), Jaycob Coleman (7 carries, 74 yards, one touchdown) and Devin Talley (3 carries, 62 yards) also led Burton's ground attack.
Burton, which led 35-0 at halftime, did not make a turnover in the season-opening win. Steve Vikara managed Rye Cove's lone TD.
Powell Valley 6, Lee 0
Jordan Martin scored on a 1-yard touchdown run on the second play of Powell Valley's possession in overtime and the Vikings earned a wild win over Lee High.
Lee High got the ball first in OT, but the Generals were picked off on their second play by Lucas Fannon.
Lee High out gained Powell Valley on the ground (264 rushing yards to 105 rushing yards) and through the air (101 yards to 34). However, Dakota Cantrell, Michael Mullins, Paul Thomas, Myron Pinkston and Martin buckled down and led a defense that kept Lee out of the end zone.
Pinkston also gained 70 yards on 17 carries. Tyler Graham led Lee with 124 rushing yards on 21 attempts.
Castlewood 27, Appalachia 14
Blue Devils running back Ryan Phillips carried the ball 25 times for 191 yards and two touchdowns, including a 62-yard touchdown run that put the game away in the fourth quarter.
Castlewood racked up 228 rushing yards and went the entire game without having to punt.
All 14 of Appalahcia's points came in the fourth quarter, including an 11-yard touchdow run by Cody Carter.
Fort Chiswell 34, Rural Retreat 0
Chris Rodriguez rushed for 186 yards and scored four touchdowns as Fort Chiswell shocked Wythe County rival Rural Retreat.
It was just the second time Fort Chiswell has beaten the Indians since 1989. The other came in 2004.
Rural Retreat was hurt by five turnovers.
Hurley 42, Ervinton 24
The Rebels rolled off 30 unanswered points in the first quarter, then held off a late push from the Rebels.
Nathan Lee had a 70-yard kickoff return for a touchdown for Ervinton, while Lee Turner caught a 45-yard touchdown from Robbie Rose.
Bassett 28, Carroll County 7
An 18-point second quarter proved to be the difference as Bassett bounced non-district foe Carroll County in the season-opener for both teams at Hillsville.
Galax 35, Northwood 14
Tyler Houk scored five touchdowns as Galax cruised to a non-district win over visting Northwood.
Bodie Keesee and Shane Jones scored the lone touchdowns for Northwood. Keesee scored on a 1-yad run in the second quarter, while Jones found the end zone in the third quarter.
Cumberland Gap 46, T. Walker 19
Thomas Walker was the victim of an impressive offensive display by Cumberland Gap as the Pioneers were walloped in their season opener.
Cumberland Gap finished with 837 yards of total offense "? 456 on the ground and 381 through the air "? en route to the win.
Bland 33, Twin Valley 0
Tommy Crigger's debut as Twin Valley's head coach was spoiled, as the Panthers were pounded by non-district rival Bland.
Tyler Adams had 66 rushing yards and also caught three passes for 34 yards in a losing effort for Twin Valley.
Hendersonville Christian 23, Tri-Cities Christian 6
Bryce Ramey had 106 yards on 18 carries and scored a touchdown, but it wasn't enough as Tri-Cities Christian was topped by Hendersonville Christian.
Ramey also amassed 29 yards in punt return yardage for Tri-Cities, a second-year program. Caleb Waldecker and Eruena Semper each had seven tackles for the Eagles.
Sullivan South 28, Science Hill 19
Defending Mountain Lakes Conference champion Sullivan South started the season in resounding fashion with a non-conference win in Johnson City.
Tyalor Fletcher rushed for three scores for South, rumbling into the end zone on dashes of 6, 26 and 27 yards. The Rebels (1-0) finished with 424 yards of total offense, 292 via the ground game.
Quarterback Isaac Kinley threw and ran for a score to lead Science Hill (0-1).

Well I wouldn't put ya out or anything, I'll venture by the library. I thought it was the Kingsport paper that had a football section on their webpage last year, and I couldn't find it this year, just was hopeful someone had found it. I'm guessing something will be in the Coalfield tomorrow, just wish there better coverage with the Kingsport/Bristol.
